Important information for using NewWave® Granular 90 Trichlor:

• Application: Can be broadcast directly into the deep end of the pool, away from skimmers and returns, with the pump running. Alternatively, some granular trichlor can be used in specific types of chemical feeders (check feeder manual). Pre-dissolving may be recommended for certain pool surfaces like vinyl liners to prevent bleaching; always add chemical to water, not water to chemical.
• Water Balance: Maintain proper pH (7.2-7.6), total alkalinity (80-120 ppm), and calcium hardness (200-400 ppm) for optimal chlorine performance.
• Regular Testing: Monitor free chlorine levels (1-3 ppm) and adjust dosage as necessary.
• Safety: Handle with care. Open and use in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves and eyewear. Avoid breathing dust. Store in a cool, dry place away from other chemicals and flammable materials.
• Do Not Mix: Never mix trichlor with calcium hypochlorite, other forms of chlorine, or any other pool chemicals as hazardous reactions can occur. Trichlor has a low pH and will lower pool pH and alkalinity over time.
