Automatic Salt Chlorine Generator System for Pools up to 11,000 Gallons
Cut the jug-lugging and let science do the heavy lifting. The Jandy® TruClear® 11K Salt System turns ordinary pool salt into a steady stream of chlorine, with a built-in “bump-and-go” cleaning cycle that keeps your blades scale-free—no tank drops, no tools, no drama. Enjoy effortlessly sanitized water for pools up to 11,000 gallons.
How It Works
- Salt → Sanitizer: Water passes over titanium-coated blades. A low-voltage current converts salt to hypochlorous acid—the same powerhouse sanitizer you’d get from bleach, minus the schlepping.
- Auto Reverse-Polarity: Every 2 hours the cell flips polarity, shedding calcium buildup so you stay in the pool longer and out of the service closet.
- Smart Control Ready: Plug into Jandy’s AquaLink® or iAquaLink™ systems for full smartphone monitoring and seasonal adjust-ups—because even your pool wants to be part of the Internet of Things.
Key features and operational notes for the Jandy® TruClear® 11K Salt System:
- Capacity: Treats pools up to 11,000 gallons—perfect for midsize backyards.
- Chlorine Output: Produces approximately 0.93 lb/day of chlorine to keep your water crystal clear without guesswork.
- Self-Cleaning Cycle: Automatic polarity reversal means zero manual scrubbing of the cell—just a quick visual peek now and then.
- Transparent Window: Allows you to see the blade condition at a glance. No more playing “is it dirty or is it just the lighting?”
- Tool-Free Twist-Lock Connector: Enables a one-step electrical hookup for the cell—no electricians, no sweat (professional installation of the system is still required).
- Dual-Voltage Power Pack: Compatible with 120/240 VAC, 50/60 Hz (drawing 4 A @ 120 V or 2 A @ 240 V) to match your equipment pad’s setup.
- Low-Flow Compatibility: Operates efficiently at a minimum flow rate of 20 GPM, making it perfect for use with variable-speed pumps.

⚠️ Safety & Compliance Notes
Operating Limits:
- Maximum water temperature: 104 °F (40 °C).
- Always maintain the recommended salt range (3,000–3,500 ppm). Operating outside this range can damage the cell and void the warranty.
- Minimum flow rate: 20 GPM. Ensure adequate water flow through the cell during operation.
Installation Warning: Must be installed by a qualified pool professional—improper wiring or plumbing can void warranty (and ruin your weekend) and create safety hazards.
Maintenance Caution: Always power down pump and salt system at the circuit breaker, and relieve system pressure before popping off the cell or performing any service.
