How It Works

• Salt → Sanitizer: Dissolve ordinary pool salt to 2,700–3,400 ppm. Water flows across ruthenium-coated titanium plates, where low-voltage electrolysis produces pure hypochlorous acid on demand.
• Auto-Reversal Self-Clean: Every ~2 hrs the cell flips polarity—knocking scale off the blades so you spend less time scrubbing and more time swimming.
• Built-In Salt Sensor: No more guesswork: an internal probe monitors salt concentration and keeps your chemistry locked in.

Manufacturer Warranty

This Hayward® AquaRite® Salt System (AQR3) with its included cell is covered by a Hayward limited manufacturer's warranty. When professionally installed by a qualified technician and registered with Hayward within 60 days of installation, the warranty is typically 3 years parts-only for the complete system (control box and cell). This warranty generally covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It often excludes damage from improper installation, incorrect water chemistry (e.g., improper salt levels, pH, calcium hardness), freezing, or normal wear and tear. Labor and shipping costs are commonly not included. For complete and specific terms, conditions, and limitations, please refer to the official Hayward warranty documentation included with your product or available on the Hayward website.

Returns & Exchanges

• Return Window: We offer a 14-day free return period from the date of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
• Condition for Return: Product must be unused, in original packaging with all labels and manuals intact.
• Packaging Fee: A 0% fee is applied if returned in the original, unopened packaging. A 10% fee of item price will be applied if the box is opened or packaging is incomplete.
• Shipping: Customer pays return freight; original shipping cost is non-refundable.
• Process: To initiate a return, please email RMA@TampaPoolsAndSpas.com with your order # and model. We’ll reply with an RMA number and packing instructions. Ship the item back within 7 days of RMA issuance. Proof of purchase will be required. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
